Big Effort Swim 2025
Back for its fourth year in 2025, Canada’s Longest Open Water Swim for Charity returns to Christina Lake on August 16th—and Skands Campground is the perfect home base for race weekend. Just a few kilometres from the start line, our lakeside campground makes it easy to prep, paddle, and rest.

More than a swim, this event focuses on personal health and well-being, fostering a sense of community while making a big impact through fundraising for the Kootenay Boundary community and environmental health.
